My Shooting Guard is only scoring around 20% from the perimeter line, last game, took 8 three-pointers and only 2 went in. Here are his stats:

Jump Shot: strong↑ Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: respectable
Driving: mediocre Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking:respectable
Stamina: awful Free Throw: mediocre

Is it because of his Stamina?

Yes it is.. A lot of things affect this. If he can't find someone to pass the ball to he takes the shot, even though he almost never scores. Also of course the outside defence of the opponent. But even the best 3-point shooters doesn't shoot more than 50%, 20% is actually decent.

Increasing his handling and driving will increase his %. Anything under 33% from 3pt Land needs to be improved.

I wouldn't agree that 20% is decent. One thing that can affect his % is his mediocre driving. He may be a good shooter, but if he's not creating good shots his % will go down

Sorry man :P. I missed the "driving" on your post, thought you were talking about handling and passing. I'm just another supporter of your theory!

I think handling is an important component to it as well as the driving that is why the skills are linked so closely, Handling helps your player deal with a tough defense and get better opportunities to shoot

You're right. But for a SG I would rate driving slightly higher, because he doesn't have the ball in his hands for much time. I don't know exactly how the game engine works, but I imagine a SG also has a lot of catch-and-shoot's, our situations where he just adjusts a little bit before firing. But I agree with you, my SG has mediocre handling and turns the ball over a lot :P

i expect he get some training, and with the skills he learned the system thinks he is a good PF. What did you train this week, and which position he was listed before?

PS: The recommend position have no effect on the game, like the size who aonly affect training.
