i am training guards and am looking to get some good trainees in the draft to go along with what i have.

i was wondering whether a 5 ball star rating and 4 ball potential is better than a 4 ball star rating and a 5 star potential player.

which would be more worthwile in drafting if possible seeing as i am training guards?

If you're in Div 4, and I'm assuming you're also doing 2-position training, I would pick the 5-ball 4-potential guy since you most likely won't be able to cap out a 5-potential guy at this stage. Also, a 5-ball guy could make an immediate contribution to your team and even be a starter for you.

Is the 5 ball star rating an A+, A or A-?
If its A+ I would almost always take the 5 ball star rating with 4 ball potential.

If its A- I'll probably take my chances and pick the 4 ball rating guy with 5 ball potential.

Difficult to say because u don't know where exactly their skills will be but generally higher potential sells for more unless there is a big gap in skills.

i would go for the 4 star 5 Potential type, because potential have lot more value then few extra skills.

Even when you plan to keep it to yourself, you never know if u want to do it, and till he get 21 you get a lot of extra cash for his potential.(and if the skills don't fit, you could replace him easier for your trainee of your dreams)

actually for SFs, skills matters much more than potential...
