Being new, I only got about 7 players scouted before the season was over.

STAR RATING: Is a 5 star rating automatically better than a 3? What is the exact meaning of the star rating? I ask because my 5 star guys scored 2 and 4 points in games we scouted. Meanwhile, some of my lower star guys, scored a lot of points and put up much better stats.

POTENTIAL: Of the players I scouted, two have 1 ball, the rest have no balls. What exactly does this mean?

GRADE RATING: What does this mean?

Any draft help or advice is appreciated.

The original star rating that a player has when he hasn't been scouted at all is completely random, so don't look at that. When you do scout a player, potential is more important than the new star rating they have. Grade rating is also less important than potential, but that should still factor in to the way you draft. The box scores should be ignored, they have very little impact on how good the player is.

In my opinion, you should find out the potentials of some more players, and pick the one with the highest potential. For more advice on how you should rank your players, you can just reveal the star rating, potential, and grade rating of the players you scouted right here and I'll do my best to give you rankings.

Possibly testicular cancer? Maybe the no balls are females?

The potential, are there only one ball and two ball players, or does it go higher?

the potential goes to 5

5 balls = 9 - 11 (MVP - All-time Great)
4 balls = 7 - 8 (PerennialAllstar - Superstar)
3 balls = 5 - 6 (Star - Allstar)
2 balls = 3 - 4 (6th Man - Starter)
1 ball = 1 - 2 (Announcer - Role Player)

Gave you a plus 1 for being helpful and not a penis face like me...

This is the potential scale.

Their starting skills are also 1 ball - 5 balls with 5 being the best and usually the highest salaries. Once you interview them it tells you a more accurate description with A+, A, A-, B+, etc....

I believe we only have one more week before the draft and I have no scouting points to use right now but will get 4 when it processes things early next week. With that said, would I be better off using those on scouting new players, or interviewing the one's I've already scouted?

And this is the last week, correct? And the most I can get is the 4 scouting points, correct?

Actually next financial update will be the start of the new season so you don't have time to get any more points I don't believe.

yes, use your points for next season.

the combine options you have for 10 points are good bargains that reveal alot info at once.

using 4 points only means you are looking for a needle in a haystack.
