The Lake Superior Patriots have sealed the deal and now have their first franchise win. They won their first games 88-81 over an easier opponent, their leading scorer was Covington, at SG. He scored 21 on really good shooting from the field, especially the 3/4 from 3. When asked about his first start this season and is good performance, Covington had this to say; "I'm glad we won and I could do my part but I really should have been starting sooner." The Patriots look forward to more wins in the near furture.
