Greetings my new friends and foes!

Been a good 8 seasons since I was last in Div III and after a long last season, I am very eager to get stuck in to battle once more!

So normally I do a review of all the newbie teams in my divisions but that's looking like quite a task as you're all new! Can any of the regulars provide some insight as to how things normally run in this league?

Please note I will be having a long, hard look at each and every one of you later this evening, so no funny business! ;-)

Good luck to you all, lets make it a good one! :-)

Oh well, i'll just have to make posts and respond to myself. Might be able to drag in a few visitors like yourself from time to time.

Why do you have this league on watch anyway Lordy? Out of curiousity.

I'll pop in every now and then to put some banter into this forum, not like I got anything better to do this season anyway (seriously, I demoted into a ghost town :P).

III.5's Great 8 isn't very forgiving. I came 8th in it last season with a 9-13 record. With that said, 3 new teams in it this season so it might be different now.

Hey OT, you're part of the Platypus crew too. You should have no trouble bouncing back up, hopefully you can aim for a more active league! I'll see what I can do here though, even it's just all me all season long.

I had a look through the history and there are some worthy champs from this league. Baxter Bogans and Home Axis to name a couple of the ABBL elites. Lordy, Geelong Vipers and the Nevada Saucers are also some mentionable Div II teams. Not to mention a couple of really old teams that I remember from way back in the day, (Melbourne Heat & Flames).

Yeah I was scoping it out today at work, had a quiet afternoon.

Next thing is seeing this season's schedule. I wanna know who's gonna get it first?

My two trainees have aged and at $20k and $16k should go alright this season, especially come PO time after another season of training. Looks like all they're gonna have to do is pass it in to Sibley and let him do his thing anyway, not too many $100k C in this league.

So it looks like I've landed on the more competitve side of this league, with the old champion even describing it as "the toughest conference in Div III". To top it off I've managed to score two of the stronger teams, in my very first two games. So looks like I'll be getting a nice warm welcome. Hoorah... :-/

Can someone tell me what the tv contract was in this league last season? I'm curious to how much less I'll be earning.

I see Raging Marmots has removed one of his older players for $480k, planning on purchasing a few players to make the conference a little tougher?
