The defending NBBA Champion Funky Town Fire will host past champion Bullish Mentality in what looks to be a great championship series! Calum brings a young talented squad that looks to pile on several more championships in the future; however, they come in a little short handed with an ill-timed injury, opening the door for Bullish Mentality to have hope of stealing away home court advantage in this series.
Tale of the Tape:
Ranking:
FTF
---#1 USA, 36th in the World;
Bullish Mentality
----#3 USA, 71st in the World
Trophies:
FTF
---1 NBBA Gold and 1 National Cup Silver;
Bullish Mentality
----1 NBBA Gold and Silver, and one National Cup Silver
Payroll:
FTF
---$890K ($774K factoring in injury);
Bullish Mentality
----$828K
Who Get's the edge?
Guards: Bullish
Bigs : FTF
Depth: Slight Edge to Bullish, would have been even prior to the injury
HCA: FTF
Previous Meeting: Bullish Beat FTF at home 105-97 in an OT game with both teams playiing on Equal Effort
Significant Road Wins for Bullish this season: None
Significant Home Losses for FTF this season: For the most part FTF was not even challenged at home this season, however they did lose a game on Equal effort to King Drive Ballers 93-86

Weird injury situations. I got very lucky. Had both my starting SF and backup SF get hurt in the Conference Finals, yet they were both game injuries. Compare that to Calum who just gets 1 guy hurt and he can't catch a break.
This is the 2nd time we've met in the Finals. But even with the injury, I feel like his team's more well rounded than mine.

Yeah, that injury severely compromises my OD, which is likely to have a large effect. We'll see, but it certainly looks like I'll have to rely big time on HCA. I wonder if it will be like the last time we met, and you beat me in the 1st game in my arena. I wouldn't bet against it. :)

Interestingly Jason, we both have the same trophies (although due to my supporter lapse it's been more difficult to research. His gold was an NBBA silver for me.

I'm sorry? Not sure what to say, it does help that your team whooped mine. Although I kind of expected it.

You mistook my "I'm sorry?", I meant it in a, "Damn this guy keeps getting injuries, what should I say? Uh...'I'm sorry?'"
Game 2 should be better (hopefully). You had a pretty solid enthusiasm edge on me in Game 1. You could breeze though Red conference with double PON, while I went double POCT.
