OK - so officially the start of my third season.

Started with an HOF SG, drafted a HOF SF and have a couple PAS trainees behind them.

This offseason I drafted an MVP center who didn't fit into my training plans, so I sold him for more than 3.25M.

Now the question is, what do I do with this money?

Stadium is expanding to 7000, 600, 125, 10. So I could go further but who knows if they'll show up.

I could buy some really nice interior players to compliment my PG, SG, SF trainees.

I could upgrade my (currently superior) trainer, but that would either take a huge chunk of the cash or take a giant amount of salary every week. Which I could handle for now, but who knows for how long.

I could try and sell my secondary trainees and buy better ones.

So really, what would you do with a mediocre/bad team and 3M bucks?

I would expand the arena to 10k+ if you start winning it will sell with the right prices. I sold ~16k seats when I was winning games in D4.

If you have enough cash left over to make a promotion run, I'd do that. I tend to be a little reckless in my promotion runs however so it might be a better long term plan to buy some players that are 21-24 and can compete and then work on training them.

I would put almost all of that money in your arena and scouting. Draft an elite prospect, buy a couple cheap ones with 6-8 potential to complement him, and train those guys as you win your DIV league with an 18k+ arena and a ton of cash to spend on good players once you get up to DIII.

I was seriously considering that - putting like 2M into construction and letting me have a giant stadium. Then use the money from ticket sales propel me.

I right now have 2 elite prospects (1 19y/o and 1 20 y/o) and a couple of secondary guys who will become decent club players.

I doubt i'll get another one in the draft because right now my team is good enough to not get a top 5 pick. I could spend the 3M on getting a third one that's 18 or 19 to train as a trio.

I, personally, would just invest the money into your arena!

I agree with everyone here. Just keep training your 2 elite prospects as they grow into nice veterans. Keep one of your secondary ones to become a nice 6th man role player for your team.

Use 2.5M to upgrade your stadium right now, and you'll be near d3 level seats in no time. Saved the remaining cash later just to save it, because you never know maybe theres one nice player you see on the market.

Doing it - 2.5M roughly on new seats. Will be a 14k stadium in 36 days (that wait is going to f'n suck).

For others, who might do something similar in the future...I would recommend not doing it all in one project...Especially if you are currently selling out or coming close, you are leaving money on the table...Do some Arena projects that will take 6 days, so that you can benefit from the new seats in your attendance revenue, and continue to make more and more money as you grow your arena. If you are already maxing out (few do), that's another thing...but in the time this one 36 day project finishes, you could have finished 5 smaller projects along the way and earn more money for each game as your arena grows.
