At the moment first round picks are selected in opposite order than success. That is fine! But the second round selections again are with the same order? What is the point? Is this normal within Pro Leagues in practice, real life? Do you really mean that when you find out there are no changes for your team to upgrade your League, you will loose your games in purpose to get better changes in draft? Or what is the point with this?

You'll get no money according to standings, so is there any point to try to get the second or third position?

This is something I can't work out! Tell me the idea!

basketball leagues usually run their drafts in the same order in every round. and tanking at the end of the season is usually common if there is no shot at the playoffs. this way you get a higher draft pick. though, to be honest, buzzerbeater makes draft picks vague enough to where a very good player can get picked late in the draft.

OK, I will certainly use this knowledge in future. When not be able to get at the top, then planning my best position for the draft!

And after all, it doesn't basicly matter if you are second or seventh in your conference. When you keep your league. Same income, but you'll get much better draft position being 7th! This is not right, but this might be American style?

Though when you are second you'd be in the playoffs...

OK, lets come back to NBA. So there are no rewards to teams at the top either? According to success?

Yep, and this 7th team also have an extra match to survive in current league. Normally this conference nr 2 may have two matches? So?

Pahinta jäädä sijalle viisi, se pistäis vituttaan!

In English:
Worst of all is to be #5 in conference, no games, no money, no great position in draft!

That is something to be avoided.

the rewards for the teams at the top include a shot at the championship, which is what every team is going for. draft picks are nice, but a championship is a lot better.

I understand, but only 1/16 teams can make that position. In the middle of season you might notice that your team is not eligible for that? Why not then make some tactics for next season?

Teams don't usually start throwing games until the end of the season. towards the middle of the season you should be able to make some tactics in order to put your team in position to make a playoff push. obviously in BB you don't want to be automatically relegated so you need to be careful if you want a good draft pick.
