S A W F T 113 - 110 Mindanao Bullies
This game was a clash of the front court vs back court. S A W F T was spearheaded by Luciano Varchi's 34 points (15-22 FG) and Josefino Dieta's 33 points (13-25 FG). Both teams went toe-to-toe but S A W F T was able to pull away late in the game to overcome the Bullies with a narrow margin.
High-scoring back court duo of dela Cruz (38 points) and Lim (20 points) top-scored for the Bullies.
Diamond Dogs 98 - 82 Cebu Conquistadors
The Dogs relied on their outside shooting (11-24 3PT) to dominate most of the scoring as they prevailed over the combative Cebu Conquistadors at the Goonstar Arena. Bob Horner lead the cavalry with 28 points (12-16 FG 4-4 3PT) and Faustino Lasala scored 20 points despite his scheduled transfer of teams.
Conquistadors guard Adello Rebueno was present the entire game and poured in 30 points (13-20 FG, 2-2 3PT) for his team.
La Roca Swimmers 25 - 0 Robust Monsters
La Roca Swimmers was automatically declared the winner by default after it was discovered that their opponent fielded a squad that violated the 200k salary limit imposed for lineups during the tournament. This salary cap is only applicable to Division II teams competing in this year's Scrimmage Cup.
Pandacan Pacers 0 - 25 Theodore BBB
Another game that got cancelled because the Home team failed to show up giving Theodore BBB the automatic win and a +25 point difference.
Katipuneros BC 56 - 85 DLSU Green Archers
A balanced attack and a steady offense propelled the Green Archers to victory over the Katipuneros. Five players scored in double figures with Jose Antonio Bacomo in the front with 14 points of his own.
DLSU survived despite Florent Bachelier's sizzling 34 points (11-25 FG, 5-8 3PT) but the rest of the Katipuneros squad was left wanting on both ends of the floor as fatigue and poor game shape caught up to them.
Ball Crushers 99 - 44 Nova eSports
Ball Crushers dominated the proceeding at their Big arena this evening as they limited opponent Nova eSports to just 44 points. 19-year-old forward Irving Thurston lead with a game-high 40 points (19-35 FG) while Portugese center Ruben Bentes grabbed 27 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Jorge Buenaflor paced the eSports with 18 points and an impressive five steals.
