The Green Archers continued their winning streak as they shot down Nova eSports in emphatic fashion in front of their home crowd. Meanhile, Charndet Mali scored 10 points (3-21 FG) for the eSports outfit as they continue to seek their first win of the tournament.
SJDM Bulacan Lions 100 - 104 Theodore BBB
SJDM Bulacan Lions failed to impress in their tournament debut game as they fell short of a victory against Theodore BBB. Alfred Kuvardin took advantage of anyone they put on defense, scoring 54 points (22-37 FG, 6-13 3PT), to lift the BBB's past the home team.
The Lions decided to pull a fast one by predicting both GDP's but failed on both attempts making things complicated. They were lead by Kurt Steininger-Erben's 28 points. The home team look to be the more efficient in this game but they struggled with their FT shooting (13-27 FT) which ultimately lead to their collapse.
La Roca Swimmers 91 - 48 Mindanao Bullies
The La Roca Swimmers were raring to get back into action at home this week as they faced off with cross division contenders Mindanao Bullies. The Swimmers worked the offense with efficiency as their entire starting lineup scored in double digits lead by Amando Pamaos's 26 points (9-16 FG, 5-9 3PT).
Nolie Lunaria was the lone bright spot for the Bullies with 15 points and eight boards. The Bullies are one of the three remaining teams in B-Pearl still in search of their first victory.
Robust Monsters 112 - 87 Cebu Conquistadors
Robust Monsters came from behind to defeat Cebu Conquistadors despite losing MilΓ‘n Vitray to an injury early on. Wingman Alfredito Jaleco came up big as a replacement scoring a game-high 40 points (16-26 FG, 5-11 3PT) and added six assists. Both teams were evenly matched heading into halftime but the Monsters stepped on the gas during the second canto and never looked like losing.
John Lloyd Taghap carried the scoring cudgels for the Conquistadors with 22 points.
Pandacan Pacers 0 - 25 Katipuneros BC
Katipuneros BC was awarded an automatic win after their opponent Pandacan Pacers failed to show up for the second game in a row casting doubts on their credibility as a team that's willing to compete in future games. The verdict is still up in the air as to whether there will be a replacement team in the works but for now that's all speculation.
