Yeah will need to update that. Well the current team is up to date if you look at that and I can give you the basic look out of current guards and SFs coming through if you like. But yeah I've been thinking I really have to get round to doing that

I contacted your NT manager more than 48 hours ago and he hasn't responded. I don't particularly want to be totally invasive, but the NT requirements page doesn't help and I don't have any other recourse.

Has there been discussion on your NT roster and if it's set? I have a player who is equal OD and PAS (with moderate and high sub-levels, respectively), +7 HND, +6 DRV, +7 IS, +3 ID, +4 REB, -3 JS (basically 2 with sub-levels) compared to a player on your team and he hasn't seemed to be considered for NT. I've never been contacted about him and this season was his first ever skill check. It's not even that my player is great - he's definitely not. He's just substantially better than at least one player currently on the team and I have no concept about what I could train for him to be appear better.

Its great that you are keen to have a player selected in the Australian National Team and that you are willing to train him to get him in.

Dire is doing a great job as Team Manager and I am sure that he will contact you soon to discuss your particular player.

Whilst 48 hours may seem a long time to you, please be aware that Dire would be quite busy this time of season scouting and responding to lots and lots of bbmails and may have also had family commitments or simply just gone away for the weekend.

Thankyou again for your patience

Hay

I do the 21 NT and just had a quick look at your guy and those in the side. Are you comparing him to Rieffel or someone else? Rieffel has some skills your guy does not have which puts him in front.

I also sent Dire a message recently and waiting a reply. I'm sure he will get back to you soon.

Emori Faletoese (19608970)
Point Guard
Weekly salary: $ 90 116
Role: regular starter
(BuzzerBeta)
DMI: 387600
Age: 28
Height: 6'6" / 198 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: respectable

i guess ur talking about this guy

how can ur guy have +7 HND etc compared 2 our PGs who have lile walker legendary or degas phenomenal???

or r u comparing 2 the Cs? but then how do u have +7 IS & only $90k salary

maybe u r comparing w Wil Parsons & then forgetting he is a SG & JR is like his #1 stat

gotta say i think parsons is garbage 4 his salary my wang is $60k/week cheaper & s#!ts all over him but i guess it is nice 2 have some1 on the team 2 play BSG when we run outside tactics

if ur guy is
equal OD and PAS +7 HND, +6 DRV, +7 IS, +3 ID, +4 REB, -3 JS
& 17 JR then ur right maybe he should be on the team

also i bet u can keep ur guy in better shape than this loser

also note

Wil Parsons has played in 0 competitive National Team games

so maybe he is just on the squad 2 stop him geting retired not cause he is really top quality

Sorry guys, it's more been Christmas/new year that has had me so busy lately and now I'm interstate for the week and only have access via my phone. I've been responding to urgent mails and will certainly respond to all others as soon as I can.

Faltoese is a good SF candidate and while you're comparing him to Parsons, that's kind of an apples and oranges comparison. Parsons is basically there for defense and outside shooting whereas Faltoese is more of a SF, I'm just not sure if he's an NT level SF. I'll get back to you personally with more shortly.

I thought we tar-and-feather NT managers that don't reply within 30 seconds these days?

I have never been contacted about Faletoese, never been given a skill guideline (having asked 3x), and had never received a skill check until this season. I PM'ed your old NT manager, Brooksy, at the end of season 24 and he had never heard of Faletoese. Meanwhile, he was better than a SF who was currently on the team around that time (Drury). I understand neither he or Drury should have been on the team at that time, but it's still a relevant piece of info.

I feel terrible about doing this, but this is more of a 10 month thing than a 30 second thing. I've had other bad NT experiences; I once had a big man replaced on my own country's NT by a player equal or lower in every single skill except +4 JR (this was a case of favouritism to GM-RiP's player). I really think it's reasonable for me to try standing up for myself now.

I want to reiterate that this is more about the other player than Faletoese. I actually don't even really care if Faletoese makes it. I'm just angry that I get the impression that said other player made it while there should be several of more worthy Australians (even if you limit by position).

And honestly, please don't even waste your time PM'ing me unless you want to give an extremely brief skill recommendation. You do have better SFs than Faletoese and you do have better SGs than Faletoese (although not the player in question). Faletoese very rarely pops too, so it's not a big deal.

Parsons is basically there for defense and outside shooting whereas Faltoese is more of a SF

I've beyond lost my dignity, but I'll also leave a final tip; HND/DRV/PAS have a strong influence on many offences (especially things like motion, push, LI, princeton) and HND also has a minor influence on OD and steals.
