That's his decision. You can suggest but ultimately it's the call of the u21 coach. Good job on the overall gameshape of the team.

We need more enthusiastic managers like yourself to be part of the U21 program and build a better future for our national team. Keep up the good fight, coach!

Ocampo is a great player dude . you did a good job . he's a great contributor for our u21 team but please respect coach NdR's decisions . its a team game , bansa natin ang nakikinabang , and we all know that coach NdR knows how to do his job and right now he's doing a great job.

i got one of the best rookies drafted better watch out after 2 seasons

Someone once told me I needed to face fear to get over it, and I thought well why not take a step further and cut my fear into little pieces then set my fear on fire then throw the hot ash of my fear into a lake and then poison the lake. Simple!

Just curious I have noticed a lot of European U21/NT coaches like to use let coach decide tactics even on World championships. Is it really that effect rather than setting your own tactics? If i remember right they tweaked the coach decides the tactics a few seasons ago? Not questioning your strategy. Cheers.

Yeah many teams in Europe use LCD. I know Spain often uses it with backcourt blank, France used it too.. Personally I do prefer to use it for sg and Pf or c because it helps me to have better rotations on both outside and inside.
It is effective to me if you have many players on the same level because it improves the rotation management and puts in the best player in the best moment. I won't use it on small forward because at this level often we use a Pf or a sg-roled as a sf and the game engine will look for the best sf-roled available player. I mean..on sf we can have lagare but the game engine probably will choose Montemayor or even Ocampo. Then they will rotate i assume but I prefer not to risk. Another factor to consider is if you set switch on d: if i use patient for example with a shooter off position in offense and switched on defense I do not use the blank because obviously the game engine simply doesn't know that I want to set players off their usual role πŸ˜‚

BBs seasons ago put a limit on this strategy, before it was used on all the lineup and the advantage was really high since with all the 12 players rotating, team ratings received a huge boost avoiding the stamina drop during the match. The limitation was to allow the LCD + blank only for at max two spots. With 3 or more spots blanked the LCD turned to inefficiency.

Hope it satisfy your curiosity, I am always free to answer even to some doubts or bad comments. Criticism is not a problem since having confrontation we can learn something. Basically I don't know much on how are Asian opponents except for China and Australia so if you feel to have something useful to tell me just do it 😊

The reason I asked was because years ago back when it wasn't tweaked yet was luckily able to get into the second round of the U21 World championships because U21 managers using coach decides strategy backfired on them. On paper their players were way better than ours but it made very strange lineups that put their players in wrong positions. Was able to win two out of three games because of managers using that strategy. But when the AI was able to make correct placements it was also evident on how stronger a team would be.

Which is why I am wondering why people still use it even though its already less potent and has a tendency to backfire. Again this is not questioning what you did but my thinking back then was why do managers use that strategy when you can set it on your own. Where is the fun of the game when you let the AI set your offense instead of doing it yourself. It nice to be able to pick the brain of a world class national team manager. Thanks again for the reply.
