It has risen..... it now rests and waits for its prey to be turned into appetizers.

@VIObuf those are some impressive free agents you picked up. Congrats. Always good to bring more talent into the league. BTW, what the hell happened in the 4th against PWN? I suspect Dick Trickle may have dosed the Gatorade at your bench. I couldn't muster up any actual evidence but I reported PWN for cheating anyway. :)

@KJ Some observations on your last match (36253525). You ran PRINCE, which runs a lot of 3's but only hit 20% of them.

You had pretty good steals and blocks but you more than doubled CMorg's fouls 24 to 11. An indication of low skilled defense. It's a lose-lose when that happens. If you hit the bonus mid quarter that turns the clock into an enemy. Your fouls add up putting your opponent on the line while stopping the clock. This extends the quarter and gives them more time to get more fouls out of your starters and puts them closer to exiting the game.

What I'd hinted at in the previous message to you should be painfully clear at this point. You need D and perhaps some IS to round out your offense. There's an old adage that Fratello used to use when he called games, "Live by the three, die by the three." 20% beyond the arc is definitely dying by the three. You may look at other offensive tactics if you want to preserve your current roster. The transfer list is looking mighty lean so it may not come cheap. Good luck, Champ.

After analyzing multiple games, I know the issues I face. I have troubles getting rebounds, even though my team is very well sized. I have trouble making jump shots that seem easy. I give my opponent too many second chance points. My team was much better last year... I still don't know what happened though... Im left with only the knowledge of that my team is failing and slowly crimpling. It seems as age is doing something, but I haven't had too many low stat drops or anything... I just don't Get it. Please, would someone imagine the frustration I'm left to face with???

I'll help. I'm sure others will chime in and help as well. I think all of us, want to be successful, but we all understand the frustrations. Give me a night to come up with some ideas on how to help. Okay?

Its pretty obvious, looking at your team, that you value offense way more then defense. Last season you had the 2nd highest scoring team, only to the Yard Dawgs, who promoted with only 1 loss. This season your the highest scoring team. That is your teams strength, however, your players don't have very good defensive ratings. Your defense has been bottom of the league for 2 seasons now.

I'd keep Tonu Laas and Jasper Hail. I'd sell eveyone else on the team. Listing them at their lowest value, so they move and you get some revenue back. If you list them by Thursday night, you won't have to pay their salary and you can still play them in Saturday nights game. This should help save some revenue to buy new players.

I don't know how much your investing in the draft, but I would only commit 10k a week.

If you plan to buy players, these would be the type of Point Guards, I'd be looking for, Passing = Strong +, Outside defense = Strong + (but keep the weekly salary under 10k)
(14172889) (10047709)

I would search for a SF that has Outside Defense = Respectable, Inside Defense = Respectable, Rebounding = Respectable, (and still under 10k)(11709514)

Centers are arguably the easiest thing to train. I'd look for Inside Defense = respectable, shot blocking = respectable, rebounding= respectable, under 10k a week. (21413108)

Those are only examples. I don't know how much revenue you have, you should have more after you sell your players. But if you can get players close to those. You can concentrate at training the young center, and you'll see a big return after a season of training him.

Just looking over your finances. (what we can see)

Your player salary is about 69k.
Your revenue from home games is about 67k.

Those are a wash. I'm going to guess, your merchandise is about 12k-15k, and your TV contract is 55k (about, since we all have the same tv contract)

So this would put your staff spending and scouting near the 65k range, right? Could you break down what your staff looks like. I wouldn't spend more then 10k on the draft, a week. Its the best value for us.
