Shall we have a thread?

Last season was really open at the top end I thought - Zalgiris were dominant when they had their top lineup out, but sold before the playoffs. Still got the conference final through Tide of Fire, which even if they are aging is never easy. I had a tough fixture list at the end of the season so knew holding on to 2nd place was gonna be tough, then an injury to Roux just before the playoffs extinguished any hopes. I thought I had a chance even away at LIDL with him (without him, with Verschaeren in average game shape and without Anderson for the 2nd half of our game I was still somehow competitive through 3 quarters).
On the blue side the top 2 side were fairly comfortable in their semis and played a very close final. Durham pretty unlucky maybe. If you give me 24 offensive rebounds and a 15 FG attempt advantage I'd hope i won more games than I lost...
Congrats to A Dogs for coming out of it all with the trophy, and doing it in 2 games was impressive.

Changes over the offseason: Zalgiris have two new monster guards (and seem to be trying to make more changes). LIDL have replaced a backup C with a backup guard, but not much outside these.

Places 3-6 on the red side look super close to me (Galaxy, Arab, Kaps and 'mugs) while I think Erks and Gauson will need/want to strengthen.
Blue side - Bournemouth are not easy at all but I'm placing them 5th again for now, Wombats look the best promoted side to me are kammu is a good manager (and trainer!), Snaiperiai are working hard to improve and I think Lions are focusing on training primarily.

No real need to welcome the new teams as you're all returning, but welcome back anyway, and good luck all (I wish you good training and primarily 0 injuries!)

Salary info (as of 2pm, Saturday 11th May, before the first game..)

BC Zalgiris 751
LIDLTallf 741
A Dogs 703
Arsenal 683
Bou Drunk 663
Keepmugs 636
Galaxy W 601
Arab City 592
Kapsukas 591
Durham W 582
BC Snap 572
Tide of Fire 550
B G Erks 518
Gauson 515
M Wombats 505
Roa Lions 466

More facts!
- The top 4 in overall salary are the same top 4, in the same order if you just count our top 5 salaries.
- Zalg have the top salaried player, LIDL the highest 2nd player, Zalg the top 3rd and 4th, I'm top for the 5th.
- Lucky clubs (those who are a rival of 0 clubs): BC Zalgiris, Bournemouth, Roaring Lions & Keepmugs.
- and the unlucky: LIDL, Tide of Fire, me and Gauson all have 2 rivals.

Does anyone know how the rivalries are calculated actually? I've just been through Buzzermanager to see my records vs all teams, and I'm 12-12 vs LIDL but (an awful) 6-20 vs ToF, yet Tide are my rival (3 losses are by exactly 3 points, I've been closer than that record maybe..)

It'd be nice to analyse average players ages and TSPs, etc but I obviously don't have that info (I could manually do the ages but it'd take, well - ages) and actually I'm not sure what facts I can come up with!
Post worth it for the salaries though?

I think you are missing Vecx salary.

Anyways happy to be back on the blue side. Last time I was here I had a difficult time mixed with injuries, training and just having rubbish players. So looking to have better run this time.

Kammu, I'm expecting you to do much better this season.

hono: welcome back mate!

I came close last season against A Dogs, as Bergkamp said. Better team won on the day. I'm hoping to do better this season as I really haven't had a PG for some time and I quite like the American I bought late last season. My Greek and English trainees are improving all the time. Surprising number of pops for Osullivan last season. Also the Greek is close to capping so might be able to play just one position soon. That would help. Still would like just one more player but who wouldn't?

Not sure I've even had two overtime games in a row but certainly didn't want to start the season that way. Could have lingering game shape issues for weeks.

(106781253) first game of the season. Thankfully I had scheduled the firing squad for Sunday, so I still had enough players for the other 2 games.

Ridiculous game anyway: first they get level in regulation with a handful of seconds remaining. Then in the 1st OT I'm down 2, I foul, they split FTs and I hit a 3 pointer with 2 seconds remaining to force the 2nd OT. In the 2nd OT I'm 5 down with 15 seconds to go I hit a 3 pointer, foul for split FTs and hit another 3 pointer to force the 3rd OT. Never seen fouling work that well.
