My name is khenry and I'm running for reelection as USA NT Manager.

This past term resulted in another Americas Gold and a Final Pool exit at Worlds. This short podcast, "Beating the Buzzer", has a pretty good synopsis of this past season (https://twitter.com/BB_USANT/status/1159459433912700933).

As you can hear in that podcast I'm disappointed in how this past season went, but I'm also encouraged by what I learned over my term and what we as a community were able to put on the court and what tactics/lineups we were able to experiment a little with, which I don't think we've done enough of in the past as we've fallen off the top tier of teams.

I truly believe we're on the fringe of a Worlds Semifinal and playing for Gold each year, but we have to separate ourselves from the pack. I believe some of the experimentation this past term helps us in that direction. We've also been helping new draftees get a head start compared to older classes with the new training staff and infrastructure. This will be necessary for us to continue to forge ahead.

I can't guarantee a Worlds Gold in this next term, but getting back to Worlds and putting a quality product on the floor is an absolute expectation, especially with what I have learned as a NT Manager this past term and the group of talent we have in the pipeline.

And I know there are some that believe there is a split between offsite/Discord and onsite, but I do implore you to join the Discord(https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2) since that is where the majority of NT planning and tactics happen, but if you don't join that I ask that you BB-Mail me so that I can keep communication with you and get your feedback here throughout the season.

I'm open to answering questions in the Debate Thread(300580.1), and I ask for your vote.

As always, Go USA.

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).
