Welcome to season 48 everyone! Congrats to the newly promoted managers. From the Big 8 we have Southpaw Army and Milwaukee-Bucks. From the Great 8, we have silver dogs, Footpath Leapers and Cassville Yuck. That's a solid group of incoming managers which should make the competition that much stronger this season.

I'm going to break tradition because I'm a nice guy and hrudey already did anyway. If A-dub has a problem with that, I'll mail him a cookie and he'll be ok again. Best of luck everyone!

Very excited to get here. I started with a team in season 6 or 7 (can't remember which) and got up to Div. II a couple of times. I think this is my 4th team overall. We will see if I can hang for a season or two.

Also happy to get the Silverbacks franchise back to the NBBA.

Confused by my merch. I came in at 60% of league average, which was down 8k from where I ended last season. I remember last season they did a merch update a week or so after the season started so maybe it will be updated.

Anyone else merch much lower than they anticipated?

I'm at 62% of what I was making last season (108 vs 173) and likely everyone is down now but I would expect it to normalize shortly.

Oh man, do cup games count for team records? (108291670)

If so, my all-time (almost 40 seasons!) team record for assists is now 18 and held by this scrub (47531411) who handed off Rajon Rondo-style to Brooks 18 times against a cup bot...

Former record holder was a solid guy I trained and had some U21 NT run with. Bah!

Are you kidding me? You're ranked Number 2 in the World? That's fantastic -- no, colossal -- scratch that, legendary!

All kidding aside, i'm pretty sure no team from USA has been rated so highly (maybe back in the early years, when the players used clubs and rocks). Good luck this season in the B3!

Thanks! Just trying to follow your lead, boss. I lost to the eventual B3 champ in each of the last two seasons and perhaps that's helped. I'll do my best but I'm just playing out the string with this roster and hoping for some lucky breaks along the way. This will be my last season competing and then I'll have to decide if I want to stick around and train a new generation or not.

I realize this won't make sense to some, but I've learned along the way that this game is ruled by reverse players & transgenders and if you can couple those players with the hidden "shot making" attribute (I call it the clutch attribute), you will be very difficult to beat.
