It is a sad season to be losing LordWoody in our Australian Community. As an international coach, he has achieved greatness in in the role as Australian Coach.
Some of these achievements include:
- Setting up a sustainable offsite forum in his first season in season 41. The forum is thriving in participation and he leaves it as a really elaborate site to help or NT succeed in the future.
- A silver continental trophy in season 47
- Gaining a rank of 8th in the world in Season 49. An achievement that can only be reached through consistent performances.
- Training u21 players for our nations junior program whilst in the NT role
- The longest serving NT manager in our nations history with 10 consecutive seasons. The previous longest consecutive coach was 6 seasons, and previous total seasons was 9 (Direwolf).
-As any good manager would, he has left the team in a fantastic position moving forward, with plenty of youth, depth in all positions, and a real opportunity for the next coach to thrive due to his influence.
The guys manager popularity season after season says it all. He was often too kind to our Australian community, and always put the feelings of Australian managers in front of his own beliefs to prevent any conflict within our nations. Please help me in showing our appreciation to the commitment of our former legendary coach, LORDWOODY!
