Felt like the Big 8 consistently had this level of relative dominance until most of the top teams folded, even if it didn't show in the seasonal records.

Finals have the potential to be great this season. Relegation is going to be unprecedented too.

There's definitely been a huge shift in the past couple of seasons from the Big 8 to the Great 8 but Naismith as a whole is much stronger now too.

Gee, maybe you should sit these next two games out and then come back super-duper focused instead.

On a serious note, that does sting a little.

I was trying to figure out why I was facing your top players with more enthusiasm, but that makes sense. Anyone know why Quebec Pugs was trying against me with more enthusiasm instead of focusing on the Semis of the Cup, or saving enthusiasm for the inevitable relegation series?

On the Pugs matter:
Facing the Green Machines on the road will be no picnic.
6th place looks like a sure winner.
His PD with Rajins was very close and in case of a tie in won-loss...
He needed to win out and hope Rajin took a couple of losses.
He was still in the cup and had enough games to fix his enthusiasm.
Of course Stajin winning at Supreme last night hurt quite a bit.
If that was a loss and the game vs Pszczyna Team was a loss, he was in.

I guess I could see that too, I took a look at stajans team and sort of assumed he's not picking up big losses here and there

Yeah. It's likely I'll have had to win 3 of my last 4 games against Griffins, Supreme, Pszcyna, and Syndicalists to hold on to the 6 seed while trying to balance those minutes with my remaining cup games. In the two games so far, Griffins went on a 29-11 run (even with Stronks missing his last 6 shots) to cut my lead to 2 with a minute to go and Supreme was within 5 pts with 5 mins to go even though I was doubling her up on the boards (finished 51-26 rebounds), so while relegation is inevitable, positioning sure as hell doesn't feel set in stone.

Weirdest season.

Why did you write that relegation is inevitable?
It's not even a sure thing that you'll play in a relegation series?
I'm confused

Yeah, I honestly planned to win all 3 games this week and play TIE in all of them. Would rest 3-4 players vs Synidcalists at home, two versus Stajan and then just put everything in the cup. But I f***ed up. Seriously need to take care of my GS this week. Yeah, and I think Stajan winning vs Supreme pretty much seals the deal. Supreme has very tough schedule left but huge PD advantage so Quebec is not passing them, meanwhile stajan has fairly good schedule so I would bet on them finishing 5th. I think Quebec will pull it off in relegation series though even without HCA. Green Machines is nothing to scoff at, but looks like fairly one-dimensional team without much depth (could be wrong though). It sure will be exciting to see how this season unforlds with all the mid-season acquisitions. On the other side it looks like LPP has a red carpet to the finals so it looks like enthusiasm will be on his side and so will HCA.
