Well, looking at the current rankings and just applying my rough scout over the teams... There is no formula, just my gut feeling and is subject to change.

Thanks for putting this together. Honestly I am not real sure how I am doing as well as I am doing. I think your rankings are pretty good however.

Well, I should have beat your ass.... But that was one hell of a second quarter last saturday. :D

My backups just could not keep up with the status quo and I got beat. This was a good home victory for you and it was a TV game no less, that will hurt my economy a little as the season goes on. Just need to get a few more base players and keep training my younglings. 2 of the younglings will be departing by All-Star time I suspect, if I can find the right replacements and that should help me sort out the balance of my team.

Until I get those replacement players in, I probably should be at 5th or 6th on the power rankings though. Then we could re-evaluate. :D After this Tuesday's game in my house, we will know just how much better Lopez is over me. I suspect he will win by >10 unless I can get Rizzo to do a Nancy Kerrigan on Cardenas. :D Also, I have found my next Rizzo for my team. In 3 or 4 season, he will solid, too bad it will take so long to get him there, cause Rizzo is starting to show his age. :D

My new trainee of chocie, Curtis Julian, got him in the draft this year, 19 y/o unfortunately. But he is already in great shape as a balanced player, even more balanced than Rizzo was when he got drafted by the Miners. So, there won't be as much out of position training required for him to evolve into the role I expect for him to play. And even better, he is fouling less than Rizzo! Which will be a a fantastic boon for my team.

Yeah was not expecting to hold home court in this game. I did go normal to your TIE but I need all the wins I can get early in the season. I do not feel I am a playoff team until I get a SF that can compete on this level. That being said I will be saving money till I am out of the tournament at that point I will make a run at a SF that can keep me here for next season. Having 4 early wins should help out a long ways.

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the courts have been delightful.
Until my last cu-up game,
I got crushed,
I got crushed,
I got crushed....

Good luck to the rest of you, now I can focus on training and scouting the rest of y'all. :D

I've had it really easy so far... been able to play TIE with my back ups and scrubs without worrying. Next cup match is against someone ranked right with me though, so the fun's over :-/

I'd think that you'd be able to get away with backups against a 650+ team... But don't quote me :-)

Yeah, I gave the 'lakers' a quick scout. He looks to be really well balanced. Looks to have comparable players too you in all positions by your SF.

So... You can beat him, but if he plays certain types of offenses, it will be much harder for you to win. Overall, I think your inside players are slightly better than his. I hope you win, I like to see our guys last in the cup.
