So at the end of week 3, how is everyone doing to start the season?

I don’t really know what I’m doing with my team if I’m honest so it’s hard to evaluate where I’m at. I wanted to save money this season in case a couple of English HOF’s became available, I’d tank and look to train them but that didn’t happen. Instead the competitor in me decided to buy a couple of players to try compete again, but I don’t have the resources to pay the sort of wage bill Zalgiris is… so now I’m at crossroads of not saving as much money as I’d like or being able to compete

Going as expected, comfortably mid table with one of my stars still out injured, so can't complain.

Somehow managed to do my lineup for last nights cup game, not save it, and then field my full strength team instead of my backups and now my starters have 100+ minutes, I mean I'll take the money but I didn't expect to win haha.

My main trainees have popped every week too so far, been a good start to my comeback all in all.

Bit pissed off that I couldn’t beat Tide of Fire with the same tactic, home advantage and extra effort albeit a slight deficit in game shape.
Pondering what to do next - will be interested to test Gully’s theory over the next few weeks!

I was slightly surprised you lost that too if I’m honest

The blue side being the virtual division 2

7/8 wins for the blue conference tonight. Maybe the blue side is stronger than you give credit for

From an outside point of view the EBBL appears to be in an interesting place now where the are a few teams that are very close. Tuesday threw up a few ‘shock’ results and we’ve seen more tonight. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.

Halfway through the season and my unbeaten record is still in tact... just. A tough away game tonight against the opposing 1 seed which saw my team come back from 13 points down going in to the final quarter to win by 10! I had almost given up hope at that point.

Still more tough games to come but I'm very happy with how my season is going.

I just need Galaxy Walkers to lose at some point as they're the only other team left unbeaten in division 2 after JA Miami beat Roaring Lions tonight.

Huge credit for getting to the last 16 in your first full season, that's an amazing effort.

Some interesting games in the cup tonight!

Roaring Lions @ Galaxy Walkers, Bournemouth Drunkers @ BC Zalgiris and Hurstead Hustlers @ A Dogs look to be the pick of the bunch for me.

Only 5 EBBL teams, 9 Division II and 2 Division III remain so the field is open for any team to have a run to the later rounds.

Good luck to all involved!
