Your team was just a bit better, that's about the sum total of it. I need to do some roster shuffling, but my team seems to be much closer to being an actual contender than just a newcomer landing in a lucky situation.

I lost, but am overall pleased with how I played. No new areas of weakness, just an old one I already knew about. So it's not panic time like it was after Wozz not so delicately put me in my place in last seasons Finals.

Sorry, I didn't realize my scrimmage was going to be at 3:00 am and it played my default lineup....my bad.

i can't fathom from those ratings how i lost, even with the -1 effort... +1 Flow, +2 OD and +4(!!) ID, and only -1/3 IS.

oh well, congrats calum, good luck in the finals!

yeah man, that's weird. Guess I was lucky in the end. One thing i can say is that for some reason my team ratings are always poor and my pp100 a slightly better indicator. Might be something to do with the make up of my guards.

hopefully I can represent the great 8 well in the finals.

yeah, your guards and your bigs, and that awesome SF of yours. but still, 13(med) OD and 14(low) ID are the best defensive ratings I've ever put up, thought that would be enough.

So you've had a huge turnaround in your team. Midway through last season, you said you had a 80% chance to relegate. Now you're in the NBBA Finals.

I think it's a symptom of other teams (certainly in the Great 8) striving for the league/cup balance. I've been 'blessed' to be knocked out early both seasons and managed to get the 'cheap' wins I needed. I honestly dislike my current team in comparison to those past, mostly because I have no USA characters I can get behind. I hope to win and then go american again. Either way, this team is not sustainable due to sub-par merchandising in stark comparison to 2 seasons ago when I had by far the most merch income.

Current estimations give me a 30-40% chance of getting the title despite HCA. I attribute that to having a slightly weaker team and enthusiasm detriment so i'll have to have to take a risk or 2 but it'll make it more exciting!

Good luck to you and your team. Oh how your star has risen quickly. I feel like an old NBBA fart!
