Ladies and Gentlemen,

Season 40 is upon us. It means we need get to make foolish predictions about who will end where.

First off, i'll introduce the 'newbies':

From the blue II.1: The return of SpirouGuiguits, who had a real fight on his hands to hold off BC FTA in the finals (and nearly died from a heart attack during the final game B) The poor fella couldn't stop worrying in the chat ;). He's returning after an absence of one season from the BBBL!

From the blue II.2: The return of Tumasstars, who defeated College Saint Louis convincingly in his final. He too is a returnee after 2 seasons of absence from the BBBL!

From the blue II.3: The return of Kikaazz, who got promoted as "lucky 5th team", after having a perfect season (22-0) only to lose in the quarterfinals to a very inspiring Coach Aurore! He too is making a return after an absence of one season

From the red II.3: The return of Antwerp Angels, who had a season 28 rematch with Insane hangtime, with history repeating itself. He (I) too am a returnee, after an absence of 8 seasons from the BBBL!

From the red II.4: The rise of Ychonodou, who will be making his first ever appearance amongst Belgiums Elite, after defeating KV Forever in a final of second placed teams (both first placed teams lost in the semi finals, setting up a very interesting and close finals!) Be sure to give him a proper welcome, deserving of a manager who is amongst 5 oldest Belgian teams! (Only Boes, Ventola, Estrellas Absurdas & Mizu are older!)


Also, special congratulations to Archanges, who managed to defend their title. Can they make it a 3-peat? only time will tell!



Let's make this an interesting season! I've already circled 4 dates on my calender that i'm looking forward too! Amongst those are the games against Kikaazz! Let's see who was the worthy champ of II.3 i might have gotten the title, but i'm fairly sure that you would have won it! So you'll have your shot at redemption ;)

Hello everyone (hi),

--> Yes I did it (party) ... With a bit of luck to get up (Obira Dragon was the favorite in the semi-final and KV Forever lost one of these top players “Canty” on injury in Final)… But I'm really happy to access for the first time to BBBL ... my FIRST access so I should introduce myself… Here is my Buzzerbeater history :

I started playing in season 5 (long time ago!!! Thank you GM-AthrunZala for the stat - I did'nt know I was the fifth oldest belgian team :+( ) without really interest at first. I had more fun buying and selling players than build a good team and training my young players.

First climb in League II in season 11 but rather because the level is low at that time I think ... A few round-trip between league III and II… Then I try my luck in season 20 to access the BBBL by buying a big American player with a big salary (Derrick Anglin) ... unfortunately I lose against BC FTA who dominated me "TACTICALLY" in Final ... After I persist a few seasons and spend all my money... (oh my god ... I'm ruined!!!). Fortunately I had still built a nice arena and I can restart with another approach of the game...

From Season 29, I begin to train my young players Drafts Prince Jamart and Englebert Tant and I recruit some good Belgian players (Ceuppens, Axel Bral, Ridvan Akeda and Demuynck)… In season 33, I'm drafting my future Hall Of Fame Warren Vanrobaeys. It is around him that I work since then (I warn the interested parties: He is unsaleable !!! :D ).

I have since added 3 foreign players to my rooster because the Belgian market has become totally unaffordable I think! But I'm pretty happy with my current team.

I think it's going to be hard for me to keep up this year but I hope to get money and train my young players...

i know of Warren. He was a special player in my U21 squad a couple of seasons ago :P And i know how you feel about being unsellable :P (I've had a couple of those too. Still have Ottevaere on my team, even tho his TSP is nearly 10 xD)

Waouw, I see for Ottevaere (I don't Know if I keep Warren until 50 years l'old... :? )

i've also got Vanhaewaert & Vandewalle. (the first one was my first ever trained player & player that i drafted. Kinda like Wolzer for JoeMaverick) And Niko Vdw was my first ever star. i just can't bring myself to fire them XD :D

(also, Ottevaere is a former Belgian NT player and my first own trained player to make the NT. so he holds a special place in my team. the Battle tested Water carrying veteran ;)

No you actually aren't. unless i get to defeat you in the PO's, i don't really have any interest in the game. The games i've circled are those against C3C (former U21 coach), Against Kikaazz (Rematch for the finals we never had) & against SpirouGuiguits ;)

I already know you will beat me twice. One can always dream, but i tend to be more realistic.

For the first time since a very long time my trainees are not future monsters, but are very basic. I'm much more exciting by the players I'm training with my Utopia team. I think I will have to keep en eye behind me, because even the top 4 won't be easy to reach.

The only good news are that I have a cheap roster, I don't have to buy (except a coach), I have a lot of money (more than 15M) and I like my schedule.

I've heard that before about your trainees. don't worry, you'll manage to find your monsters. you always do :P As for your bank account: hot damn!

Neubert doesn't sound very Belgian :P

I'm going to start looking for my next Forward project. Valery will be finished within a season or 2, so it's time to find my next project. But as per usual, the Belgian prospects look horrible %} I-)

It feels nostalgic to be playing against Ventola again. Brings back II.4 memories (not sure Jona likes those tho :P)
