Previous offering: I love old school throwbacks. The fields of rap/hip-hop were so bountiful in those days. I spend a lot of time on the road and in a lot of areas I travel there is a old school throwbacks station on the dial. I can almost guarantee that track is on the playlist for "OG 97.9" in ATL, those guys love deep cuts. It could appear on 92.1 the beat which is the station for Virginia Beach/Hampton roads though probably not on the station in Richmond which seems more pedestrian in their taste.

Let's make this interesting, and truly eclectic. Choose your follow-up from the list of material which is on the immediate upcoming list and choose something if possible from a different genre. Preferably using the first listing, that way your not overthinking.

Using that benchmark I give you.....

Elton John, Where to now St. Peter?

From Sir Eltons first great album Tumbleweed Connection released in 1971. A tale of a soldier killed in battle figuring out his fate between heaven and hell. Actually this entire record is just stunning, Country Comfort, Burn Down the mission, take me to the pilot, Ammoreena, all so good and a fine starting point for a man who thanks to his lyricist Bernie Taupin would produce thru the mid 70s one of the most accomplished body of work from a time period where there was all kinds of great material

Great choice, you cant go wrong with Elton John any day. Actually, its first time I hear this song. To my taste, instruments and melody are really dope, he sings good (of course), but i missed something...anyways, props for sharing some gems!
