Another successful off-season in terms of processing is almost over and tip off is ever closer. Welcome back to all surviving teams and greetings to all the newly promoted teams.

It seems a bit weird to start by congratulating myself, so I'm not going to do that. What I am going to say is that it's a great honour to win the EBBL and it's not something I thought I'd ever achieve. I'm definitely hungry for more but they always say the hardest thing to do is to retain a title so I guess my mission in doing that starts now.

Moving on to the more exciting side of things with this seasons promoted teams. Surprisingly, only one of the teams who come up have experienced EBBL game time before in JA Miami, with a brief one season stint back in Season 49 so welcome back to them. Congratulations and a warm welcome go out to Pillow B.C., Cambois Donkeys, Bromley-By-Bow and MILF Hunters who I'm sure will be relishing the task of competing at the highest level.

It looks a difficult task for the three newly promoted teams to crack playoff qualification immediately on the blue side with last seasons league and cup winners making up a strong quartet of established EBBL sides, including veteran managers Tide of Fire and LIDLTallfellas. new jersey2 had a good campaign last time out finishing runner-up in the cup and securing a convincing relegation playoff and will look to improve on that this season.

Durham Wasps are the team at the top of the tree on the red side after a great season in the previous campaign. Gully's new signing at SF will add a lot of class and could be the difference in going one better this time out. The other three playoff spots all seem up for grabs offering healthy competition. Hope Springs and Los Mikitos both endured great campaigns in Season 53 and will be looking to replicate that here. London Whales look to become more established with each season passing and Stinkilemons has all the experience to give the fans something to cheer about. Gauson will look to build on his excellent relegation battle win and will have ambitions of climbing the table whilst the promoted teams will be looking to make their mark.

Nice to see some new teams promote. I think its healthy if its not always the same teams boomeranging between the divisions, though that can't be a sin as I've done it a few times now. Is it four? I can't be bothered to look but that sounds right.

Really looking forward to week one of BuzzerBeater Madness, which I never intend to type again. Hope I look forward to week two.

I’m definitely exited to be back and I hope I can stay up this time round… I had to go back down to rebuild the last time I was up…
I had a solid campaign to get promoted this season and very exited for what’s to come !!
