Good luck in the playoffs! Strangest final standings I've seen in a long while. Every G8 playoff team has a better record than every B8 playoff team, and every B8 team except for the last place team has a better record than every G8 non-playoff team. Must have been a lot of parity in theBG8, and a big split in talent in the G8 from the top half to the lower half. This could mean some unpredictable conference playoff results, but also likely another G8 winner crowned champion.

It's weird for sure. I've been watching all season and haven't been able to get a great read on the talent disparity. The bottom 4 of the G8 definitely inflated the records and point differentials (and enthusiasm), but the matchups still favored the G8 top 4 vs the B8 top 4.

F.Day looked like the strongest competitor easily to me, but the Splash Gang had a particularly strong showing in the quarterfinals and I think that could be enough to force a more tightly contested playoffs.

Definitely agree, Big8 games between teams 1-7 are borderline tossups.
It's my first year in this league and I've enjoy the level of competition. Unfortunately I'm now 1 game away from being relegated, ugh. If I get past Rashmonster I look forward to playing everyone again next season!

All four of my losses this season were on the road. Two of those were against teams that were using CT while I was using TIE. A third was a bad offensive strategy choice on my part.

F.Day was probably the favorite but fell victim only using Playoff Normal against a good team using a Playoff CT.

That's always a tricky call to make in the 1st round of the playoffs. Do you try and save enthusiasm for future rounds or do you push it and risk losing due to lower enthusiasm in later rounds?

I appreciate the love being shown to the team! Knew the only chance I had that first round was to CT so I am not expecting anything tonight but winning on a buzzerbeater in the playoffs was definitely one of the highlights of my career!

Best of luck to everyone in their upcoming games!

Good News: Making it to the Finals
Bad News: The other team's got a guy with a $180k salary and absolutely loaded starting lineup.

Ug.

I was fortunate that I had the bankroll to keep my roster from last season in the NBBA together. I've trained my top 8 all from ages 18/19. Jones (the $180K player) has actually started to drop TSP this season. However, he's my first ever homegrown NT player so I'm going to keep him until he's completely washed up.

Good luck in the Finals!

How much has he dropped? What are his skills? What are all of your players' skills? And what strategies will you be using in the Finals? I'll come up with a few more questions later on.

I only used GM powers for good and not evil when I had them. Those were the days, when I had time for all that volunteer work. By I assume I can count on you to work some evil GM magic to my favor? You know, that button that lets you decide which players get injured, how many fouls get dished out, and that automatically bring any team's Enthusiasm up to level one million...
