How much money do you think you need to save up before making a push for D1

I would think of it more in terms of assets.

Teams that typically make the top league are training guys and line it up with trying to go to NBBA. The more money the better but it really just depends on how many NBBA caliber guys you have and can transition from D.II.

It really depends on how smart you are with the money you have and how good your trainees are. If your goal was just to make it to the NBBA then with some very solid trainees you could probably make it there with only a few million if you bought older players. However, if you want to make it there and stay competitive you would probably need quite a lot more.

As for winning D3 if your trainees were good enough and you just wanted to make d2 you could do it with minimal money. However, if you are looking for longer term success in the upper divisions you will need to save up millions more.

I believe I had about 8-9 million in the bank when I was in division 4 and made my push up the divisions, but I also trained 2 NBBA caliber players along the way. Some people can obviously do it with less, some people might require more.

If I were you I would also focus on adding some more lower tier and courtside to your arena as it is needed to generate high income at upper divisions.

As some guys said, you not only need money for promotions but investments to youth’s , arena - also etc if you save 2 or 3 millions its still doesnt mean you will buy correct or good enough players for promotion .

"Enough players" is a key ... injuries after the PO-trading-deadline may screw the complete season at all.
