Hi all,

I would like to learn the training system. This system looks interesting but also complicated. So I would like to get experience by training these two guys:

I know that these two guys will never be very good but I would like to learn the game mechanics so they are ok for me. How would you design the training program for these two fellows? I would like to train them both.

I think those players can still be fairly decent guys in the long run. 90s-low 100s TSP players are still valuable as they provide the depth and financial stability for your team to be able to not only get wins, but also build bankroll to buy other players in the future or improve infrastructure.

Both have the capabilities of becoming fairly solid forwards, so I would begin with training One on One (Forwards) for an entire season or even up to nearly 1.5 season to improve their handling and driving skills. Driving is a very cheap skill and can one on one help improve 4 skills at once (Jump Shooting, Inside Shooting, Driving, Handling) so it's kind of like a 4 for 1 special. With even a level 4 (advanced) trainer, you should see about 13-16 pops throughout the season on both of your players, barring injury.

After 1 season of one on one then you likely move on towards improving both of their defense. I highly suggest training Pressure (OD) Outside Defense is still a highly sought after skill on the market and it boosts teams ratings fairly quickly once trained up. OD will also rise faster due to elastic effect given from Handling skill. Mpaltakis will be solid once he hits around sensational+ Outside D. After getting their defense up you can elect what you want to train from there, as it will likely revolve the kind of identity you want to have; either playing an outside game with jump shooting, or pound the rock inside with some inside scoring. This is very small sample and this is a plan that usually goes to about 2.5 seasons to start seeing the results come to fruition.

Hope this helps!

1on1 forwads is 6 positions training: 2 players 48 minutes in the 3 games of a week.

In addition to the two guys and Aures you should buy 3 more players, same size, 18 years old, potential 7 or 8 and train them as alreadx recommended. Actual the market prices are low, in total it will not cost more then 20k-50k.

This is a good point. My main goal this season is learning but your point is a nice cherry on top of the cake.

Indeed. I guess I will go this way. Sounds very sensible and well thought out. Thank you.

I guess I can afford such players this season so I will search on the transfer market. Only spending money on expanding the arena is a little bit boring. Thank you for this hint.

After 1on1 and JS or Rebound (if you go for inside players), you are switching to 3 position training (OD, ID, IS, JR). You can sell 3 of the trainees to expand your arena and save some money for new trainees.

I. e. high Driving AND high JS will push OD even more.

You should contract an youth coach, Level 4 is sufficent. This will push training of 18 and 19 years old trainees.

Here is a basics training guide that I made and is a good intro into training. You’ve already received some great advice in here but sometimes getting just the basics of training down and understood is best:
