Back from holidays I can finally open the season 58 topic!!

After an opener against Andorra, the draw was not in our favor with an away game against Germany.
If the first game was quite simple, there'sno miracle for the second.

The objective this season will still be to reach the play-offs and hope to win the HCA for the next Asian championship.

I selected 15 players from the start this season with the arrival in the group of Yamato, which is the good surprise of the off-season.

Nagase, meanwhile, has been sold, hoping that this will allow him to be fit and therefore usable

Today we will play our 3rd match against Belarus

After 5 games, 4 win and 1 deafeat, Japan is still on course for the play-offs with the 20th spot, but there's still many candidates for HCA victory.

Next game on monday will be a difficult one against Srbija.

For the second times in a row, Japan won his place for the second round of the consolation tournement.

Like 2 seasons ago Japan have finished with a good record of 6w-2d, unfortunately we had to meet 2 from best teams in the world, Deutschland and Serbija, all others games finished with a win for us despite MOTS from last 2 teams U.A.E. and Prathet Thaï.

For the final next Asian tournement HCA victory, it remains 5 candidates:
- Japan (21th)
- Malaysia (24th)
- Hong Kong (25th)
- Indonesia (29th)
- Philippines (30th)

It will be more than difficult for Japan to continue his good run cause our next opponent is another of the best teams in the world, España.

Rendez-vous on Monday and Come on Japan!

Good Job! It is really awesome you could put Japan in the second round this time as well. I have some friends in Spain NT Staff, they are really good at this game. It will be hard, near to impossible but, well, nobody knows. Good luck Fulek

Spain NT was too strong for Japan! We did our best but it was not enough.
With a win over Slovenija, Malaysia won HCA advantage for next Asian Championship.

During this consolation tournament we only lost against Germany, Serbia and Spain, 3 of the best teams in the world, it's not a bad result but it's a little disappointing to to fail so close to the goal for the second time. On the other hand, this allows us to really situate the team in the global hierarchy and measure the work that remains to be done.

It was a great result. It is near impossible to compite against a top NT like Spain o Germany. Well done Fulek.

How do you see the team for next season? Has it improved? Matsuyama is getting older and I am not sure about our future possibilities

Thank you for your encourages

it's a bit difficult to determine how the team will be next season cause at first, it depends of NT Manager, concerning me, I am ready to continue and I will run for a new term, but the choice of the coach remains the responsibility of the community.

In my opinion, I don't think there will be many changes due to the low pool of players with the necessary level to play at NT level, obviously some players are near NT retirement and could drop from the roster and some additions from younger players could be made.

Matsuyama remains one of the best and important players at the moment and I think he have a couple more seasons in the team but it may be different in a few weeks.

For several seasons, the team had a certain dependence on Matsuyama, which will be less true in the coming seasons because there has been a real progression of several other players. Congratulations to the managers for this.

The coming seasons will not be easy, but the work done with young players will be beneficial in the medium term. We must continue.

Come on Japan
