3 days ago, Wasted Potential’s BBM madness hopes ended in the round of 32. The loss concluded the deepest BBM run of any USA team in the top 2 divisions. The previous week the team lost to “Lebron Slams Up” in the round of 16 in the USA tournament (a team record for the cup). When asked about what this says about the team, GM Mediocrity had the following to say:
“These tournament runs have shown the potential our team has, but… well, you know who we are. We will see if it amounts to anything.”
The tournament runs have left many fans excited, however, some major questions remain about the management style of the team. The GM had the following to say about playing the teams big men at the PG position for the entire game in many league games this season:
“Umm, well our studies show that this is apparently more effective in making them better players. Not quite sure why, but for some reason when we play them 48 minutes at certain positions, we see a large increase in their skills.”
While fans may wish for more confidence from the GM, the results from the previous seasons have left them temporarily satisfied.
