To start season 47 the Kitchener High-toppers have moved into Div.II after winning the Div. III league title last season. "This year won't be so easy" says crowd favourite Justin "Prime Minister Trudeau. He is on to something though, as it looks like the High-Toppers have the lowest team player salaries in the League. Likely the talent level in Div II will completely outmatch the current High-topper squad. They better hope something changes fast if they don't want to find themselves regulated back to Div. III for season 48.
Though it does look like they is a glimmer of hope. In the draft the High-toppers were able to land Future Hall of Famer Kirk Johnstone late in the 3rd round. Also they signed other Future Hall of Famer in 19 year old Scott Stallard. With the management signing of two new staff members in Bulgarian trainer Valentin Donchev and a Youth Trainer from Belarus in Trakhim Kastiukevich the future looks bright for the new squad in Kitchener.
