...that no one cares about.

Hi there.
I'm here to see who all has made a full-fledged Homegrown Utopian Team (HUT).
No transfers allowed, besides selling your dear family of players you either started with or drafted in the past few seasons.

There are a couple threads floating about that discuss Homegrown Non-Utopian Teams (HNUTS - the 'h' is silent), but those usually specifically say they aren't interested in hearing about Homegrown Utopian Teams.

I'm sure there are a lot of us. Maybe 100? But I'm curious.
My team went from being absolutely terrible in the inaugural season, with wins only coming against teams that forgot to set lineups, to being a playoff team last season and this season. Still a ways from promoting, as the #1 and #2 in my league have some big hired guns, but that's the nature of the beast.

So anyhow, if you've got a fully 100% HUT, please reply.

Thank you,

Iguanadon Joe

So it sounds like they may be comprising teams all from the same country, but not specifically from their own original tram and draft.

I just read the thread on Utopian NT and U21 teams. Interesting.
That would be cool.

On this thread, I'm more interested in knowing how successful any Utopian Homegrown teams have been in their DIV leagues.
My goal is to make my homegrown team as competitive as possible. It's fun. Much different approach than with a non-homegrown team, in terms of strategy, economy, etc...

And single position training goes out the window, since you need to focus on improving way more than only three players. So basically, I could never train my MVP or HoF'er up to their potential. Also, the nature of training six guys at the same time means that everyone is going to end up fairly balanced, as they will get both inside/outside & offense/defense skills, so player builds will be efficient.
