My team has always have very high HA and PA and even I get unexplicable turnovers from my guards against Gully. Stuff like my NT starter throwing the ball out of the court 3 times in a game. In our playoff game my other guard, who is inferior in every skill to my NT player but has 18/19 HA and 15 PA, threw the ball out 3 or 4 times in a single quarter and by then he had 0 assist and 5 turnovers.
9 is low, 34 is high even with FCP firing on all cylinders. There may be other variables at play, like effort and GS, but yeah I learned not to get upset when I see those weird turnovers against those defensive tactics.
The Houston Rockets in the NBA play similar to how FCP works out in BB. They suck at rebounding, but they defend shots well and replace rebounding stops by forcing a lot of turnovers.
