Hope to revitalize our MBBA forum.

I have been playing since season 3 (our pioneer batch). Not much achievement by my team other than the occasional challenges in the play-offs and the provision of 2 SGs for our U-21 and NT. Sparkle (formerly known as Spaz) mentioned to me the other day in one of my rare appearance in BB-chat that I have an ageing roster. That's so true. My grouse is that season after season I just didn't manage to secure any decent drafts. Hence my ageing roster. My youngest player is 21years of age this season.

So what's ahead for me really? I suppose I will have to reinvent the team starting from next season, which could really only mean one thing, dropping off from MBBA, just like Terfu. A wholesale change is required. Bringing my wages back to something like sub 100K and hoarding cash. But more importantly, have a new group of 18yo trainees. Hopefully in the process, a bit of national service as well, by training one or two U-21 potentials.

What Terfu and Sparkle (not liking this name at all!) really inspired me to reinvent my team and hopefully in the process, reinvigorate my interest in BB. I think for Spaz (reverting to this is so natural) dominion of MBBA and Cup has really dulled his enjoyment of the game I suppose. Not winning anything is starting to dull mine. Here's to a fresh new season and challenges!

No doubt the attendance in div II is as you said, ugly. But on the other hand our roster wages will also drop significantly as we will not be that highly competitive. If I happen to drop down to div II, I would for the first 3 seasons just focus on training the trainees, hence possibly even throwing games just so the trainees get the necessary playtime.

At the end it's all about priorities. I should have done this for the last 6 seasons as there was no way my team could have compete with Spaz or NoT. On hindsight, if I had done that 6 seasons ago, I would have amassed quite a cashpile and possessed a bunch of super trainees. Then only would I race for the summit.
