Well with the season at the all start break again many of the top players are out on court. The leauge tables are settling down and I was wondering what peoples thoughts are. Will it be the players runner up from last year, or someone from the big 8 again????
Poll:  Who is favourite to win the leauge this year, many teams looking good and a couple settling at the top.

i would have to favour last seasons runner-up to be triumphant this season. need to lose a GF before you win one! haha

Got to be the Players. I was like 7-1 before I played them, threw a CT at them and still lost by 20. After that I needed to sit down and have a big pipe to calm my nerves.

I hope you make the play off also, as that would probably mean the 4nik8ters miss the play offs and they are the only team to beat me this season and without them in the play offs I would be happier

The Players took the mighty IMMORTALS to the brink last season, they are indeed a team to be feared and respected. Our team has struggled in div2 this season but we are spending all our money on our arena not players and actually have a slightly weaker team this season than last so it will be a challenge for us to survive. The Players would be worthy champions but we do warn all here to build your arena lest the great income you desire in div2 not be yours.

so what's your plan for the rest of the season? If you don't get 5th and get 6th I think you would have a good chance of staying up playing a weaker team.
yeah need a big arena to take full advantage of the Div II boost in ticket sales. Though it has been bad this season, the first season after promotion is always the best.

I think I could make the finals if I spent a bit but I can't see much point. The top 5 teams in the great8 are probably better than any but the top 2 in the big8, and maybe better than any great8 teams. In the cross games I lost to Players and Donkeys and may lose to 4nik8rs. PH.76er have only lost to The Players but still have Bandits and Saints to go. So of the top 7 teams 5 are great8.

Sand Dune Scorpions were maybe the second best team in the league and now are tanking so whoever wins the great8 will be the champion.

I doubt I will be much threat but it is a long season so who knows.

I have been building my arena since last season planning for my promotion, it is now over 15000 seats. I am hoping this is enough

hahah looks like you've planned very well! My arena is still only 14k, I think that's a good plan because next season (if you promote) you can focus entirely on buying players to compete rather than doing it half assed like I am.
