Fantastic win by the M Eagles!!!
Their great defense was able to slow Flamengo down enough to score less than 100pts for the 1st time this season (team's avg was 125pt/gm)... M Eagles' new G was great on off and def shutting down Flamengo's Gs... Prather coming off the bench was an attempt to surprise tough, but ended up messing up the flow. Inside Flamengo was better, and much better on FTs, but The M Eagles' much higher enth made a big difference.
M Eagles came out banging on the 1st and completely shut down Flamengo's offense, 24-17, while Flamengo was able to bring the diff down to 1pt by half. The 3rd was also great for the M Eagles and with Hernandez fouling out, they just didnt have enough to come back, even with Coleman's injury.
Now the last undefeated team is down. Flamengo, M Eagles and Bodes have a 10-1 record and are on the run for the title. DD Dribblers and 76rrrs have 8-3 and Superdinovia and Chicago Scrappers have a 7-4 and are still strong on the run for the POs... While there are no more undefeated teams on V.89, Need4sheed still hasn't won a game, 0-11 record...
