I'm a past champion of V.7. In my experience, not many folks use the forum in this league. But it would be awesome if you started that trend!

You've joined right after the beginning of the post-season, so you've got some time to get your bearings before the season starts. Right now you're in a relegation series, but don't worry! Since you're an active user, you won't be relegated even if you lose. I recommend scheduling a scrimmage for this (and every) thursday if you can. This will give you an extra game to experiment with your roster and train. (It looks like Brad Prince could be a very nice first trainee!) You probably don't need the 18 players they give you at the start, but you can use them to get a bit of a feel for the game before you spend anything on new players and such.
If I can give you any advice, I say read the guide
(144856.1) and check out the forums. There's lots of info there and lots of folks willing to answer questions.
