It is currently draft night, and although the Raptors currently don't have any picks, it looks like it might be the night they unload Defensively challenged former 1st overall pick Andrea Bargnani and have a major shake up of their current roster. Brian Colangelo has finally resigned and left the organization, while newly hired Executive of the Year Masai Ujuri looks to put his stamp on the team, and tonight could be the night where a lot of stuff goes down.

I'm almost thinking that either Gay or DeRozan will get traded tonight along with Bargs. Or maybe Kyle Lowry.

As long as they dump Bargnani I will be happy. Looking forward to the new season.

Raptors didn't pick up the option on John Lucas III. He's officially a free agent as of July 1st. Nice guy, and I hear he was a decent teammate and a good voice in the locker room, but at the end of the day I'm OK with him leaving. I bet he's back in Chicago within the first day of free agency.

I was really wishful that Bargnani would be traded. John Lucas the Turd was a decent player for the Raps, but at the end of the day hes a 3rd sting PG who is a good character guy, a good locker room leader and practice guy, but has no real purpose playing on a playoff calibre squad. I was hoping the Raps could pick up Canadian Myck Kabongo from Texas as their 3rd string PG, but looks like he signed for the Summer Team with Miami.

I'm pretty sure we could have Bargs traded by July 10th. The day that sign and trades can officially happen should see alot of activity.

I don't think Raptor fans realize how hard it's going to be to move Bargnani. The guy doesn't show up to play every game or even every play for that matter and has several glaring weaknesses. Nobody wants that type of player attached to a big contract unless they can dump an even worse contract back.

I don't think it'll be easy to trade him by any means, but the fact is there's always another team that thinks they can change a players habits and put him in a system he'll excel in. IF we find a team to dance with, and I acknowledge that it's a big if, I'm willing to put my faith in whatever move Ujiri makes. Maybe it's naive of me, but I want him gone regardless if we get a deflated practice ball and a McDonalds happy meal in return.

I don't think I've heard amnesty ruled out 100%, though I know that has some ramifications, so maybe we just pay him to go away?

The New York Times and TSN are reporting that Bargnani has been dealt to the New York Knicks for a 2016 first round pick, a future second round pick, Steve Novak and Marcus Camby. The deal is just waiting league approval. Boom.

Wait... We got ALL that, for just Barg? Are the Knicks stupid or is Ujiri really the "Massaiah"
