How important is inside shot for a pg? I have a great trainee with a bad inside shot so should I worry or not?

Yeah, I want him to be at least respectable, if not strong at IS before he turns 21. I'm really starting to get a feel for BB and the offensive tactics and I want to try to run a Motion offense because it seems like my guards already have a jump start on some key motion skills.

I can't do that. Lol my guy can still reach his MVP potential.

Well, it depends on what are you planing to make out of that player. If that's going to be an outside oriented SF, but you'd still would like to play LI, then IS is something that you really need. If not, I don't see the need to have it bigger than you have.

For example I have a PG, that I trained myself - JS 15 JR 12 OD 15 HA 13 DR 14 PA 12 IS 3

He plays for SG, and his average FG is 45.5%. And when playing LI... It's 41.6%.

So, there is no big need to pop that IS to 7-8, which would take you forever;)
