Well its the start of a new season the blue side has gained ABBL demotee Mad ranga i mean sterling Archer. Aswell as 3 brand new div 3 teams which may mean that there side may be easier to be in than last season but with the likes of jw and j ballers fighting it out i doubt it.

while the red side says hello to new team Hamersley Hammerheads, who are making there first appearance in div 2.


oh and for those that dont like scouting new teams

Hamersley Hammerheads:
Young side looks to be training guards wont know there salary till update but only real strength looks to be inside at this time
First time in Div 2

Cranbourne Suns:
Pretty balanced starting five that will seem to compete two 30k guards a 30k sf and a 80k centre who is backed up by a 40k Pf but that is all they have with no bench to talk of what so ever.
This team has been to div 2 before but under a different team name in baby boomers but that was way back in season 19 and 20.
Been in game since season 11 but has a small arena and a negative 3mill transfer history so doubt they are loaded

Rampaging Marmots:
The marmots should be a known face to div 2.1 people who have been here for a long time as he spent season 15 to 20 in this league before disappearing into div 3 and even div 4
Has a starting 5 that will compete and is an experienced manager who should have cash stacked away.

Eggplantpopolopolous:
Another team returning to div 2 after spending a few seasons in div 3 also an old team starting back in season 9.
Though unlike the others has a small arena and only one major player in there 90k SG

Thats how you get Ants:
Who cares was in the ABBL will be up to them if they want to bounce straight back up. Pretty much an all australian side at the moment full of retirement home players will be interesting to see his intentions

not sure how much I am going for it this year, we shall see after a few weeks, will be training my new draftees (how nice it having 19yo's that are at least somewhat trainable!) so we shall see how much that affects league position and see who else is going for it and how strongly the finals will be contested. I kinda blew my load in S 28 though so probably be a year out for me.

Seems JW must have gone bankrupt so im changing my backing to be the year of the red side if you dont go for it probably be GC of Southern as i think ill sell up after all star break if ive won enough games and roll in some cash

hmm as usual I will just sort of play it by ear if I think I have a chance 3/4 of the way through the season then i will most likely have a crack at it. Can't stand sitting it out if I reckon im more than a 30% odd chance, has worked and not worked for me in the past.

But in saying that it would be a training focus for now and see where we are sitting a bit later. I will assume Mr Archer will have the funds to take over the league but we shall see if that is his plan or not.

I absolutely promise that I will not be taking over the league.
I would like to train up my new fluke draftee and finish training Aslam.
Maybe NEXT season I will try to contend. For now I would like to make some money and train. I need to buy a couple pieces to have a competitive team and avoid the bottom 3 spots tho.

Nice to be back in II.1. I've missed it here. I've gone from IV to II in two seasons which means a third promotion is incredibly unlikely, so I won't be pushing my luck.

That's not true. You would have a crack at it even if you had 0% chance :)

Seems like with JW going bankrupt and BreakerJ surely bleeding money atm that this will be a really open season that plenty of teams can win. Looking at the economy page most teams must be making a nice profit so fair chance it'll come down to which teams decide to make a move later on...

Damn. BreakerJ's roster is worth literally double what mine is.
