Hi All.
Was a really funny but uneventful draft.
Only happy with my first pick, still dont know how my second draft pick ended up in being in my preferences list.
Good luck to new teams Night Rose, The awesomese,Bengaluru Bulls and corleone bb team.

What do you guys think of the draft?

Marginal. I got my third pick. He's 18 which is a plus but only an allstar which means he's not worth training. I'll try to pick someone up.

Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: pitiful

got a 19 YO MVP. What do you guys think is he worth training?

I could use some advice on training a big man. He's 23 but MVP. What skills are best to train first for PF/C?

Well i trained my big man of starter potential from last season's draft pretty well. He was 19 in s36.
He popped 8 times throughout season.
ID and Rebounding popped slower than shot blocking and Inside shot.
But since he was 19 he got pops a lot faster,so i aint real sure.
And again im only 3 seasons experienced, and you must know a lot more than me :}.
Hope i helped.

The problem with Starter potential is that they cap out too soon to be useful for the IPBL. You train them for 3 seasons and then can't start them.

His salary is good enough that you don't have to worry about the age. As far as the training, there is supposed to some strategy but I always train the Defense first so that they stop fouling out and then do the others as I feel like.

And I try to keep the salary under control by training balanced players.

Yes I assume the cap is between 15 and 20 and with buzzer manager he is estimated to have around 10k for salary and has reached 86 percent of his potential so s37 is probably his last season of growth but I feel around 50 points in isp alone is good enough to be an important part of my squad to start for a few seasons and maybe a useful bench player in the future perhaps?

Yeah I tried shunting him by training outside skills to lessen his salary. Lets see what happens ..

Regarding some general stuff in training, Will it matter if i train a near 7 foot guy outside defense.
Like will the rate of training differ or something.
Similarly training inside shot for a small pg.
And i noticed that sometimes when i train ID, My player even pops in OD.
I know that handling and driving are related but are there any very closely related skills?
And do any of you guys train shot blocking and jump rang to 11 plus like levels? Have read at many places that many people neglect it.

Yes they will be slower. I've forgotten how much but the shorter, the better for outside skills, and the converse.

There are also random pops.

Short answer. Yes. But it depends on how the training goes.

Yes I did with my SF. Haven't trained SB. But may do that with my big man.
