I'm still not sure what to do with my team. I'm going to finish training my guards this season and start training posts next season, so I'm in a bit of a limbo right now. Good luck to everyone though. I'm not looking for a championship at the moment.

How on Earth does my team lose to the last ranking team in this league?! Is this a joke or is BuzzerBeater broken? Although my Game Shape isn't the best, the salaries and stats of my players that I've spent million of dollars on, should have won me the game. What the heck is going on?

Like many, you don't manage your game shape or enthusiasm well.

Playing at normal all the time will eventually put you at a disadvantage. Combine that with poor game shape and it is a recipe for losing.

I have been out of town and I dropped the cup game to a much lower rated team because I wasn't keeping this up. Even had the advantage of higher enthusiasm and skilled players, but my opponent had better tactics and gave me the L. Its cool that you can knock out higher teams with good managing.

Many factors went into the game. I TIE every game. I have very high enthusiasm.
I also manage my game shape.
Having said that.. i have absolutely no players outside of my trainees. I didn’t have any business winning lol.
And I’m pretty pissed that I won. I’m trying to lose here

Obviously the coaching point here is don't play TIE if you are tanking

This is actually an interesting thought. If a team were to play CT every game, the team enthusiasm would quickly be shot. I imagine that would actually be worse than playing TIE every game?

Or even just TIE in league games and CT in cup games to squeeze out an extra cup win or two without getting your enthusiasm maxed out.

A CT with no enthusiasm is worse than TIE with max enthusiasm

You know what’s sad, I never got the memo on the secondary staff. I didn’t even know it was there up until last season. And even then had no idea what they did.

Wasted all that precious training..
