2 bad injuries on israel and yorac. Three players not shaped like rebueno dionson and our best player fornoles. 2 20yo in the starting lineup, another one off the bench, your Lim.
Tremendous job to defeat these monsters. I am really happy and proud because this match means really much for the competition and is a huge example on how well we can do if we can have all players available.
And last but not least, a nice gift for you all to wish you a happy new year!

That is what I can say a turning point. I watched the game from the start. Simply amazing. Wow.
Cargado being fearless all throughout. Gamosa messed up offensively but kept his ground on the other end of the court.
That game is one for the books! Toughest games ever!

nice win keep it up and they CT on us lol
Someone once told me I needed to face fear to get over it, and I thought well why not take a step further and cut my fear into little pieces then set my fear on fire then throw the hot ash of my fear into a lake and then poison the lake. Simple!

And without Gavadan (injured) and Cargado (best scorer for the past two games). We are going into the semi final with high enthusiasm.

We can say injuries really messed up everything this season. We lost gavadan twice for two weeks and now we are praying to get him back. We lost Israel and yorac for two weeks too, we lost rebueno himself for one week.
Lots of injuries but in the end we found always a way to go on and we are in semifinals.
Cargado yesterday was out because of my decision, I know he won't be mad at me for this 😂
Against hong kong almost surely crunching I needed more defense and as you can see from backcourt shooting % from hkg I can say our players did their homework. 😌

Taiwan also lost to Malaysia which surprised me. It looks like China will be the team to beat. Good luck we are a having a nice season given all the challenges, hope we qualify for the Worlds. Its really hard to catch up in the last chance qualifiers. Even our Senior team will host next season. In the end, all we can really hope for is having a chance to compete. I hope this will inspire more trainers next season. If we get Malaysia in semifinals a sure silver is very possible but lets go for the gold.

We've got a lot of 20 year old players in this roster. It basically means one thing: teamwork (tactics) over individual talent. We just hope that Malaysia will keep their head up against Singapore. Singapore might crunch (they did TIE yesterday), and Malaysia just crunched against Taiwan. Battle of enthusiasm levels.
We should not underestimate everyone in this tournament. But I am just so proud that despite all of the injuries and gameshape issues, we did TIE all the way and remain undefeated with China.
LABAN PILIPINAS! PUSO!
