Well if you didn't enjoy tonight 105-103 victory, there is something wrong. What a game! Bulgaria were a very tough lineup, also hard to predict and hard to set offense against. Our Aussies found ourselves behind 75-76 at 3qtr time before a few big 3s to seal the game which came down to the final shot!

Votes
3- Chick
2- Yu
1- Williams

Fine showing by the boys tonight making light work of Japan. 65 rebounds dominating the offensive possession, and suing the ball with efficiency, shooting the ball at 55% makes the rebound count all the more impressive, because of the 40 misses, 15 were 2nd chances for our team.

MVPs
3- Meehan- 18pts, 70% FG, 13 boards, 6 blks.
2- Santacera
1- Chick. 17pts on 70% FG, gets the nod over McGeedys 18 boards but at 35% FG efficiency scoring. But 18 boards is impressive by McGeedy.

Celebrating a big win overnight as the last remaining Asian team!

Aus defeat Bosnia 96-90
MVPs are super tough- not real shining player and 4 that have good and bad layers
3- Chick- top scorer with 20 pts, 5 assists
2- Yu- 15pts, 6 assists
1- Williams- 12pts, 13 rebounds.
Pelip mighty unlucky. His efficiency was the best of the lot, the offense didnt really allow him to stand out.

Next week is top seed Israel. Our tournament is done and we have achieved our goal!

I'll do up the totals shortly, as that is it for this amazing group.

Cracking season and competition for the MVP race this season. J-Jack's Wally Chick taking the count out by 1 vote over LH Bandits Art Meehan. Both were next level trainees in their position from what we have ever seen. Chick has broken our total TSP record for a 21yr old by 2 with 2 weeks still of training before the end of season deadline! Meehan is our top TSP Center in our records too. And J-Jacks appear to have provided us with not one, but two record breaking trainees with Williams also very close to breaking our previous TSP record, being used in the SF position all year to allow our star filled guards lineup enough court time.

Next season we are proud to be in search of an Asian championship on our home soil. We have not hosted this tournament for a long, long time, so it will be a good opportunity to bring home some results.

Thanks to all managers for their training efforts this season. We had some consistent game shape from guys like Yu, Pelip, and Tambouras which added great depth and flexibility in strategy.
Thank you!

Since the election threads are locked I wanted to chime in here before the upcoming campaign that, whilst I believe FE made a legitimate point and I think they would do a great job in their own right, realistically the U21 job is whitewind's until they decide they don't want the job anymore and there's nothing wrong with the way they've been handling the U21's to justify a change otherwise yet.
