Is there some hidden personality factors that cause a lot of fouling? So of my players look a little maladjusted. I had 34 fouls vs. my opponent bot's 14, and they were 36-46 at FT, vs. my 10-20.

I outrebounded them 65-46, and had 41 more shots, outscoring the other team by 16 from the field.

I lost by 10.

Been scratching my head over the fouls too.
Like my latest game where the opponent scored almost half of his total points on free throws. I can't know for sure but I think my defence are stronger than his so logically I think he would have been fouling more and me less.

Some say experience is important when it comes to fouls but no team has gained much experience yet and being one of the teams that's been around from the start I'd think my players should have an OK experience cojmpared to the "younger" opposing team.
But I might be missing something important here.. just trying to figure out how to not hand over like 30 points a game in free throws... :-)

can it be some tiredness....your players are so tired they just hit the opponents arms and so on...

The bot team I played was a bot that went 17-5 and promoted, and then bounced back into my league, so they might be more experiences. But they suited up 2 of their draftees, and one started and was a leading scorer.

It was a pretty odd team, using two 7' guards.

Perhaps.. but it happened during the first quarter already plus the stamina of my players should be enough. But I guess stamina is a factor when it comes to keeping up a good defence.

I think complaining about the refs may have worked. This game I was outfouled 28 to 15, and I scored 15 more from the line.

I guess the defensive skills of your players has something to do with that.
I have the same problem and still trying to find an answer.
