Globo Gym ready to drop title of "Best of the Rest" and fight for promotion

Duane Jansen stormed into Globo Gym GM Nikebones office in the middle of season 61 and begged for some help. The at-the-time 22 year old was tired. He was tired of carrying the scoring load, tired of the cheapskate general manager, and tired of being on a middle of the road team. The 27 year old manager leaned back in his chair, put down his Moscow Mule, and said "Trust the Process".

At this point in the season, Globo Gym had lost 4 straight games, with the team in its lowest form since its inception. Good news loomed on the horizon though, the arena was done. GM Nikebones had a long conversation with Duane and they laid out a plan, a plan that would get them to Division 2 within the next 3 seasons. The first step of this plan was to say goodbye to team legend Joe "Mama" Ceder. Joe was instrumental in getting the Cobras out of Division 4 for the first time, but as his age increased, his productivity decreased. The second step of this plan was to find Duane a new frontcourt partner. That's where David Gándara comes in. The big main from Spain comes to give some stability to the front court and to anchor a dangerous Globo Gym defense. Step 3 is to focus on the development of two nineteen year old studs, each bought to come in and be a staple of the team for the next 15 seasons.

Nikebones has not allowed me to publicly state the next steps of his plan, but for now, I will take his advice and "Trust the Process".
