Tampa Bay brings home a chilling 85-83 loss against a better team tonight. The Blue Vikings have won their third consecutive game against the Guzzlers, with their only win over the team being a "night of serious determination and amphetamines" that caught the Vikings off guard.
"We knew a win like that wasn't going to come easy tonight," Hollis "Beautiful" Blevins tells reporters. "I'm actually not real sure what to do right now, they haven't ever let me do an interview before. It's in my contract that I can't do media photos, which somehow extends into my contract with Mountain Dew."
Blevins almost saved the show tonight with a whopping 12 rebounds and 32 points, but a dismal and never before seen 5 points in the third quarter ultimately lost Guzzler's the game.
"Half time was real bad," Abraham "Iggy" Ignatius tells us. "We were up by 17 points, and with Killer out with his stomach bug, we couldn't believe it."
"We actually thought we were going to win," a dejected Zindzhi Banana interrupts.
"Yup, before we knew it we were feeding shots to the new guys and kind of forgot we were playing at all. The locker room is the best part of the game if we're being real here," Iggy continues. He looks pale and a little nauseous. "Without a coach we kind of just do whatever want back there. It's a lawless zone and it's been a long season, I can't blame the boys for really letting it rip this time."
"Last time I drank at half time, I ended up clutching out the win," Banana remembers. "I built up a lot of confidence, but these guys beat the brakes off of us in the 3rd."
Guzzler's team leader Thilo "Tiger" Bichlmair was no where to be seen after the game.
Let's hope for a strong come back after Killer Liska's return next week, but it goes without saying that the Guzzler's lost focus and have an uphill battle the rest of the season.
