Season 64 starts with the arrival of some decent to good prospects for your Buckner Bandits. Our first pick was MVP potential Gene Spears who will be a large project for us and not a starter immediately. Our second round pick was 18 year old William Moore. If well groomed, this kid has the potential to reach his superstar level! Perhaps the most lucky pick in the draft was our 3rd round pick. With the 38th(?) pick, we choose 19 year old Paolo Polo. This kid is already skilled in ALOT of areas and with the training we are prepared to pump in, he will be around the league for a long long time!
Season 63 ended with us losing in the playoffs, but honestly, as a home grown team, I was very pleased with our season. This offseason we purchased a new trainer and now that we have our core group, we will treat the draft differently than we did last year. This is going to be a tough year and your Buckner Bears still will not raise ticket prices per our founding promise to the fans.
Lets have season 64 be great! There is some stiff competition, but we will see!
