GM Nikebones sat in a dimly lit office with 3 monitors, a Surface, and a TV in front of him. Ironically he had consumed more Moscow Mules than he had monitors in his office at this point. He pondered, "How can I finally escape the madness of III.12?" He browsed the transfer list looking for the perfect player, but he could never find him. Why were there no 150tsp, 50k salary players on the TL? Suddenly, a specimen appeared! Known as Roland Holley from the nation of Utopia, Nikebones dulled brainpower came to life. He knew his team was missing one final piece, and Roland was the perfect piece, a small forward that could shoot, pass, and dribble. What a prospect! Unfortunately, this prospect was 33 years old, how could Nikebones buy a player that was older than him? What if Roland didn't respect Nikebones authority?!
After another Moscow Mule a bid was placed, then another, and another. It was a bidding war! The price was now over $400,000! "Way too much for an old head" Nikebones thought to himself. The Moscow Mules told him it didn't matter, and Nikebones won the auction. The puzzle was now complete, and it was time to win the league.
Globo Gym ran through III.12 with no issue, adding one final piece, a $170,000 salary guard to get them to the finals, with a guaranteed auto-promotion spot awaiting the team when they got there. After a loss in game 3 of the finals, no heads were hanging, the team celebrated while the GM thought of ways to improve the roster as they move on to their biggest test yet, Division II.1
