Thousands of fans stood outside the Tiger Land arena, waiting for CEO and Owner, MrJ, to address them. "Greetings Tiger fans! As the end of a difficult season arrives, we would like to share with you the direction the club is taking." The crowd remained silent. "You all know well just how difficult this season truly was," he continued over the murmurs. "We had unexpectedly been thrust into a new and more challenging league and, in all honesty, we were not up for that challenge. We faltered. We made mistakes. We tried fixing it in different ways. We broke our homegrown status. We made significant financial mistakes too," the crowd continued to murmur. "Eventually, after an honest and hard look at ourselves, what we stood for, what we wanted to be known as, we made decisions that we would now like to share." The crowd was silent once again. "We are proud to announce that we are once again, and will forever remain, a homegrown team!" The crowd suddenly cheered. MrJ waived them silent. "However, the journey ahead, because of our past mistakes, will now be difficult. Many of you have continued to come to watch our Tigers...even though only 6 players graced the court!" The crowd let out another cheer. "So, we ask that you continue to do what you do best...support us!" Another cheer. "We will draft as best we can, field 9 players next season, as we once again work towards greatness!" The crowd cheered until MrJ spoke again. "And to show you all that we are set on this path, the Tigers---who will always be known as such---will be renamed at the end of this season to reflect this focus on homegrown talent!" The crowd was quiet, unsure. "...and of course, in keeping with tradition, the first home game of the season is FREE for all; so bring your friends and family!!!" The crowd went beserk at this.
