Queen City delivered its most dominant BBM performance of the season Wednesday night, crushing diddys 86–50 at the Templo de Cristal.
The Villains controlled the game from start to finish, holding their opponent to just 21.8% shooting while winning the rebounding battle 63–54.
Newly acquired Nicolas Weiland wasted no time introducing himself. In his Queen City debut, the 18-year-old scored 23 points in just 21 minutes, shooting 9-for-14 from the field and 4-for-5 from three.
“We didn’t bring Nicolas here to help us win Division IV games. We brought him here because we believe he can be part of where this organization is going. Not a bad first night.”
Benedetto “Il Muro” Mazza anchored the middle with 11 rebounds, while Clayton Hill and Valentin “The Balkan Butcher” Tzvetanov each added 13 points.
Final: Queen City 86, diddys 50.
The Villains move to 2–4 in BBM qualifying and pocket another $25,000.
The rebuild is starting to look a little less like a rebuild.
